Richard Powell Library, Sidney Sussex College Cambridge
Sidney Sussex’s library was built in the 1920s and refurbished in the 1990s. It’s a cheery utilitarian space, with calming blue and yellow themes throughout. Of special note are the varied book spines and geometric features. A puzzling photograph looks up at the staircase (with a mirror on the wood panelled ceiling, see ‘Stairs‘).
This photographic collection of the Richard Powell Library at Sidney Sussex College Cambridge was photographed in 2018 and contains 48 images, a small selection of which are shown below and available as giclee prints in many sizes.
