Ashby Library, Clare Hall Cambridge

The Clare Hall Library (built 1984) is a comfortable and colourful space adorned with the influence of the original owner of the house, Prof WW Rouse Ball. He was a magic enthusiast and founding president (1919-1925) of the Pentacle Club, one of the world’s oldest magic societies. Remnants of his influence are seen today in the gorgeous stained glass windows with magic puzzles to solve. Can you solve it?
